Sticks is also obsessed with shiny things, so she's joined the Olympic Games in the hopes she might get one of those medals for herself. Her hunting instincts really kick in when she takes to the Archery event!

During the Barcelona Summer Olympics, the player only starts with 10 different events, but as more years of the Olympics are unlocked, more will become available, which are prominently featured in that year's respective Career mode. Once an event is unlocked, it can be played during any year in the Summer or Winter Olympics, and different years may have gameplay changes such as different routes or layouts.

Cycling and 10m Platform Diving are exclusive Olympic events on this handheld. There is an unlockable version of four of the Olympic events in the Wii game called " Dream Events ". They differ from their real-life counterparts by applying more fictional video game attributes from the Mario and Sonic worlds. As a result, these events also have recognizable locations, abilities, objects, and support characters from both gaming worlds.

You have almost as much down time as play time and you cant set up a list of event or tournament style party.
