Good information David. Yes HERO is a sorry scam of a program. Payoff amount was higher than original purchase price after paying per month for 18 months. How that is possible shady amortization and how these snakes can stay in business without being investigatged and charged, is beyond me. When I refinanced just recently luckily I was able to payoff the entire amount, but I am pissed.
