I took this opportunity to try and install the nvidia drivers but it wouldnt let me because it couldnt detect any nvidia card. I then put the video card back in and turned it on and still no signal.

I have also tried plugging the monitor into the 2 avi slots didnt realise they existed before directly connected to the and still nothing. I tried plugging a secondary external display, and that worked fine too, both in Safe Mode and Normal Mode. I thought it maybe my notebook display screen problem hardware problem , but what I noticed is that when I start my notebook, the Diagnostic Boot screen shows perfect brightness, even the Windows Boot Screen shows perfect brightness, but as the Welcome Screen appears, the bluish screen also appears, but that is not same for the secondary Display.

Yes when you reboot, the Microsoft Basic Display driver should load and you can then install the legacy driver Either way, there will be no issue as Windows will install the device when it reboots! Do you think updating it in safe mode and then booting into normal mode could help? Or, What do you think about repeating the process, only this time using DDU?
